The hair on the back of his
neck said I was close enough.
Definately the telephoto used
here.
I turned around and took this picture, decided to get out
of his way, then noticed I had the river below me and a cliff to the other
side. With one foot in the water, doing my best to become part of a
trail-side tree, I watched as the moose passed within touching distance,
his eyes glued on me all the time. A wildlife photographer always
carries an extra pair of underwear along.
BIG
GAME
Using a 5x telephoto lens for the photo to the
right, this big fellow seemed unconcerned about my presence. After taking
a few pictures, I moved on down the trail in the other direction.
Then I noticed he was slowly following me.
King of this hill, posing for the
camera.
