Montana Big Game Photos
The first photos above, were taken early in the morning
just as a light fog lifted. They did battle off and on,
for perhaps three hours, and as the sun rose the colors
warmed. No telephoto lens was needed. I just had to move far enough
back to get them both in the picture!
ELK FIGHT
I stayed with the herd of elk for 3 days, not hiding in
any way as that makes then nervous. By staying in plain view, and
pretending to show absolutely no interest in them, by the third day the 6 point
and 6 by 7 would do battle with me only about 25 feet
away!
