In mid September, the eighth grade class of 2002 of Ophir School was presented with the idea of producing a "school" newspaper to put as an insert in the Lone Peak Lookout. Lookout Publisher Joe Warren and Editor Marcus Hibdon scraped up the last bits of their spare time and trekked down to Ophir School during the eighth grade tech time to discuss the upcoming project. The class of 19 showed a great interest, and so it was decided that the Eighth grade class at Ophir School would produce and publish the first newspaper in Ophir School history. |
