M & W Milling and Refining, Inc. is a full service custom milling, smelting, refining, leaching and analytical Facility.
M & W specializes in gravity-bulk flotation quality Concentrate production.
Small ore lot milling and batch testing can be performed to develop process feasibilities to provide a solid and detailed metallurgical flowsheet and database on any precious or basemetal orebody.
The Crushing Circuit at the M & W mineral processing Millsite can accomodate 750-1000 tons per day (30-50 tons per hour).
The mill Grinding Circuit will provide 140-240 tons per day (6-10 tons per hour) millfeed to the gravity and/or bulk flotation Concentration Circuits.
The Cyanide Circuit presently leaches 5 tons per batch, recovering gold and silver by Merrill-Crowe zinc precipitation. The circuit has been expanded to leach two five ton lots. All necessary tankage is in stock.
Small lot testing services are also available for any of the above stages of Mineral Processing.
M & W Milling and Refining Inc. is a Montana Sub-S Corporation formed in 1991. The Virginia City Mill Site includes an 11,000 square foot mill building - 9700 square feet of mineral processing and a 1300 square foot fully equipped Metallurgical Laboratory.
M & W Milling and Refining, Inc. is fully permitted and works closely with Federal, State and Environmental agencies to comply with all regulations and offer remediation services and consultation for environmental clean up.
In conjunction with Moen Builders, Inc. M & W has a complete 3000 square foot Prefab Shop capable of rennovation and rebuilding any piece of mine and mill equipment, heavy equipment and rolling stock.
